Have you or a loved one been diagnosed with an asbestos related disease?

You may be entitled to industrial injuries benefits from the government regardless of your income, savings or if you receive a State Pension. Depending on your circumstances these benefits can be quite substantial. Our members have a wealth of experience in helping people apply for these benefits.

If you are living abroad but you were exposed to asbestos in the UK or worked for a UK based company, you may still be entitled to industrial injuries benefits from the UK government.

You may also be entitled to compensation, our members can put you in touch with specialist lawyers in your area who may be able to claim damages on your behalf. The services these specialist lawyers provide is free of charge.

Forum Group members provide a variety of services that are independent, confidential & free. There is no charge. Some group members provide a specialist, dedicated and comprehensive advice service. Other group members are dedicated to funding mesothelioma research. While all group members actively campaign on a wide range of issues some group members campaign on specific issues as well. They provide invaluable information and research. Between all Forum Group members we cover the whole of England, Wales and Scotland.

Asbestos Victims advice groups offer a full benefits service completing all benefits forms for patients and their families, this is done either at home face to face or over the phone. Groups will liaise with the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) to ensure speedy awards and help with mandatory reconsiderations and appeals. All groups offer ongoing support to patients and their families with coffee mornings and events, many of our groups work closely with Mesothelioma Nurse Specialists. All of our services are offered free of charge to all.

If you or a loved one needs advice and support, please contact your nearest support group (see the map below).
